Social Activities & Events Overview |
|
We’re not just about babies! Membership of the BCT offers a great way to meet other families through a wide variety of social activities for adults and children alike. Play groups and events are held at Imagine in Wezembeek-Oppem and local groups meet regularly throughout Brussels and the surrounding areas. Other groups geared towards, for example, single parents, working mums and long-term residents, offer BCT members the opportunity to meet and share common interests and concerns. |

A number of groups meet weekly at Imagine . These groups include Bumps and Babies meetings, craft groups for little ones, music groups, yoga and baby massage sessions. With the exception of yoga and baby massage, you can simply turn up at these groups – no booking required. A small charge is made each time you attend. Read more (members only)... |

You will find a local BCT group in almost every area of Brussels (and beyond). These groups are co-ordinated by one or more group leaders, usually mums or dads from that area. Each group arranges its own activities which include coffee mornings, toddler groups and evening social events for the grown-ups. The groups usually meet weekly at someone’s house, for coffee, a chat and a play for the little ones. Mums or dads from the local group volunteer to host the coffee mornings and any BCT member is welcome to attend any group whether or not you live in the area. Some groups request a small contribution for attendance. Read more (members only)... |

Twice a year, the BCT holds a nearly new sale, usually in the spring and autumn. At the sale, you can buy or sell pretty much anything to do with babies and children – including clothes, equipment, furniture, toys and books.
You can find full details of forthcoming sales, including what to do if you have items to sell, in issues of Small Talk (the BCT magazine), running up to the sale, or by clicking here. The nearly new sale is open to BCT members and non-members alike, with a small entry fee, and is extremely popular. |

Fundays usually take place twice a year – one in the summer and one before Christmas. The summer funday is an outdoor event, come rain or shine! It’s a great afternoon out for all the family. The Christmas funday is held indoors and offers lots of craft activities for your little ones, suitable for children aged 2-9 years. Both fundays are advertised well in advance in Small Talk (the BCT magazine). Upcoming Fundays... |

While it is true to say that more mums than dads are active within the BCT, the BCT is an organisation for families - and all members of the family are welcomed to BCT groups and events. |
