Topics will include: Choices for pregnancy care and place of birth Health and well-being in pregnancy Information on support and resources in Belgium
It is suitable for those planning a pregnancy, first-time parents and parents who have already had a child/children in other countries. The evening will be led by the BCT's experienced and qualified English speaking prenatal teachers (who all hold a current Diploma of Higher Education, Antenatal Teaching) and run about every four weeks at Imagine. You do not need to be a member of the BCT to attend the Pregnancy in Belgium evening.The cost per couple is €20 for BCT members and €25 for non-members. Furthermore participants will receive a useful booklet on the following: - Information on choosing a gynaecologist/hospital
- Prenatal testing and what to expect when giving birth
- Postnatal support (from the BCT & elsewhere)
- Costs, insurance, maternity benefits and registration of the baby
- Childcare
