Who are we?

The Brussels Childbirth Trust (BCT), was formed in 1978.  We are an international, English-speaking, non-profit-making organisation, providing help and support to young families in Belgium.  We are an entirely voluntary organisation, run for our members, by our members.

What we offer - BCT services and activities

The BCT runs a number of services and activities for its members, including:

• Pre- & postnatal support: we hold talks and prenatal courses to help parents prepare for their baby’s birth in Belgium, hire out equipment to help during and after labour and offer a range of postnatal support, for example, with breastfeeding.
• Information services: The BCT can help you find the answers to all those important questions of who, what, where, why and when, through our information team, library, magazine and phone line.
• Social activities & events: We’re not just about babies!  Membership of the BCT offers a great way to meet other families through a wide variety of social activities for adults and children alike.

With a truly international membership, the BCT is a great place to make friends for you and your children.
